I just finished up a large project and am relieved to be able to work on my own art now, although I believe I've hit somewhat of a dry spell. My muse is gone. I have a graphic novel to draw/write, yet I can't get myself to lift the tablet pen. And yes, I know, this is nothing new; it happens to all of us. I'm just a Debby Downer lately.
The list of shit-tastics: Money problems, no doggie, working all the time, saying goodbye to one of my ratties, constantly being taken for granted, depressed... *heaves for air*...
"Shake it off, Kari," you say. "It's not the end of the world. Just keep swimming..."
"Swimming?" I reply. "That's an odd thing to say." And then after a pause, "Why the hell am I having a fake conversation in my journal entry?"
Ahem. Anywho---
Hopefully I will have some updates soon.
In the meantime, who wants to be my muse?

But I have to say, the journal entry talking to a non-existent person that kinda made me laugh. My day is content now.
